Our story with the DC area is a personal one. Together, we were assigned to the region eight times, giving us a unique understanding of the National Capital Region and the many families who build their lives here. More than 25 years ago, we each began investing in real estate individually, and 14 years ago we began investing together as a team. Before launching Blue Horizons Realty, we had already completed more than 40 real estate transactions of our own. That personal experience became the foundation for how we serve others.

After years serving as an Air Force Liaison Officer—shaping policy and building partnerships across the Department of the Air Force.
During my time in service, I had the privilege of working directly with senior leadership, contributing to policy development, and strengthening relationships with our allies across Europe. My experience in the State Partnership Program, reinforced the importance of adaptability, communication, and trust—skills I now bring into real estate.
As a retired military member, I’m especially passionate about supporting the military community. I understand the fast-paced nature of PCS moves, the terminology, timelines, and the pressure that comes with relocating. My goal is to make that transition as smooth as possible for fellow service members and families.
As a homeowner, I’ve also spent years in the remodeling space, learning how to identify potential, evaluate properties beyond surface-level, and recognize what makes a home a smart investment.
Alongside real estate, I continue to grow my entrepreneurial venture, PawSwap, but my focus remains on building meaningful connections and helping clients make confident, informed decisions—whether buying, selling, or investing.

Chris bought his first house at the age of 22 close to Marine Corps Base Quantico, and has been a real estate investor for over 20 years here in the DMV. He understands first-hand the power of leveraging real estate and how to help you also create a real estate portfolio that will make retirement living more financially rewarding, than if you chose to rent during your PCS moves.
Chris loves to entertain friends, family, and colleagues, attend concerts, explore restaurants and wineries in the DMV.
